INTERN
ASHLEE HARLAN
Ashlee is the CHAN Project's Programs Director who brings excellent insight to our cornerstone programs. With more than fifteen year's experience in behavioral health management working both at direct service sites and within medical records, Ashlee brings strong skills that include clinical and diagnoses, administrative, treatment, management, leadership and much more. We welcome aboard, another family member in Chandler's sister to the CHAN Project.
In Ashlee's personal life, she is mom to two beautiful children, a daughter and a son. She resides with her husband and children in Snohomish County and in her free time she loves to camp and explore the outdoors together with her family.

ANDREA PAGE
Andrea holds a Bachelor's from Western Washington University in Human Services and served a year as a CHAN Project Intern, focusing much of her work as a member of the Opioid Awareness Project Team, engaging community feedback, working on our surveys and print materials. Andrea has continued on as our High School Opioid Awareness Program Lead, designing curriculum and programming for our agency, working alongside the Naloxone Distribution Team, and the Middle School Program, to assure strong programming overall.
In her free time, Andrea enjoys spending time with her children and grandchildren. Andrea's main hobby is powerlifting. She competes both nationally and internationally. She is a Master National Champion and a Master World Champion. She plans to continue her education moving on to obtain her Masters in Counseling and working as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.

BRITTNEY DIZON
Brittney has obtained her Bachelor's from Western Washington University through the Human Services Program. She completed four quarters as the Media Intern, taking on our website design, social media, and leading a team of interns, with a high retention rate of interns. Brittney currently is our Media Lead, overseeing these same programs for the CHAN Project and focuses much of her work on website, social media, and branding.
In her free time, Brittney enjoys warm beach days with her husband, three children, and new puppy. Brittney and her husband host a Marrieds group at their church where they love connecting with and encouraging couples. Brittney has a heart for youth and volunteers every Sunday at Pursuit NW's Kids Ministry. She finds comfort and healing through the calm of reading a good book, reflective writing, and the soft flicker of a yummy-smelling candle. Her goal is to obtain a Masters in Counseling and help guide young people as they navigate life's challenges.

ERICKA DAVIS
Ericka attained her Bachelor's from Western Washington University in Human Services in 2022 after completing a year as a CHAN Project Intern. Much of Ericka's work has included being a member of the Opioid Awareness Project Team, engaging community feedback, working on surveys and print materials. She continues to support the CHAN Project as our Middle School Opioid Awareness Program Lead, designing curriculum and programming for our agency, working alongside the Naloxone Distribution Team, and the Middle School Program, to assure strong programming overall.
Ericka is a survivor of addiction herself and will be celebrating her 67h year of recovery this May of 2023! She is the mother of one daughter, 3 fur babies, and 10 feather babies that are her world. Ericka is passionate about horses and the equestrian lifestyle in general. She rides English hunt seat, and started showing after 3 years of riding, and now is training others in horseback riding. Great accomplishments we are so proud of!

JAYLEE HARKNESS
Jaylee graduated Western Washington University's Human Services Program in Spring 2022 and fulfilled a three-quarter internship with the CHAN Project. Jaylee was instrumental in working on our Grief Circles and helping to structure the design, which will incorporate a grief journal workshop, a book club, and healing yoga. Jaylee was also instrumental in orchestrating the creation and implementation of the CHAN Podcast and has continued on as our Podcast Producer overseeing the recruitment of our guests for the CHAN Podcast.
In her free time, Jaylee spends time with family and loves surrounding herself with family members. She loves to garden in the summer and also enjoys camping and hanging out outdoors in warm weather. Leroy, her dog, is by her side everywhere she goes. She spends a lot of time playing with him and bird hunting during the season.

MEGAN RAVENTOS
Megan is a 1st Quarter intern with the CHAN Project and a Junior in the Human Services Program at WWU. Megan has brought her research and advocacy skills to the forefront with her work on our Opioid Awareness Programs in Schools and our Harm Reduction Strategies. She has been instrumental in implementing our curriculum into a collaborative tool that can bring the CHAN Projects programs into the classroom alongside our Opioid Awareness Program.

MARY RYE
Mary is a junior in Western Washington University’s Human Services Program. She is a first-quarter intern for the CHAN Project and focuses much of her work on marketing and fundraising. Mary also works with our grief groups and the development of grief journals.
In her free time, Mary loves spending time with her family, especially her 9 nieces and nephews, as family is of great importance to her. She is a huge lover of all animals, especially massive dogs like hers, and hopes to open a rescue someday for animals with disabilities. Mary loves getting to know people, engaging in different experiences, and finding a way to explore the world. Her biggest passion is writing and she uses this to support her journey through recovery from addiction and mentors women in recovery from eating disorders. Mary’s goal is to work with the elderly but she currently holds many possible interests in her field.

JENNIFER FITZPATRICK
Jennifer is a first-quarter intern for The CHAN Project. She is a senior in the Human Services long-distance program at Western University and will be graduating this coming June 2022. Prior to Western University, she graduated from Olympic College in 2020, where she majored in substance use disorders. While The CHAN Project is her first internship, she volunteered for 7 years as a Care Coordinator for a gentleman that just recently passed away.
Jennifer is a recovering alcoholic and has been in recovery since 2017. Her sobriety is what led her back to continue her education and has helped keep her sober since. She is inspired by helping others, especially the ones who feel hopeless, lost, alone, and like no one understands them, as she was there once.
Jennnifer is a wife and mother of two, her oldest is in college and youngest is in middle school.

JAYDE LAUB
Jayde is a Junior in Western Washington University’s Human Services program and a first-quarter intern with the CHAN project. Jayde has firsthand experiences with the loss of friends to the Opioid epidemic and the grief that comes with it. She also is familiar with addiction and recovery. Jayde also worked as an in-home care provider for 2 years. Jayde believes having empathy for others is the best skill anyone can possess.
In her free time, Jayde enjoys spending time with her dog Sophia and her best friend Lily. She enjoys the days when she can sleep in and the days the sun is shining so she can play ball with her dog at the park. Jayde is looking forward to floating a few rivers in eastern Washington this summer.

REBECKA RAPER
Rebecka is a senior at Western Washington University in the Human Services Bachelors Program. This is her first quarter as an intern and her focus for the organization will be based on social media and marketing.
In her free time, Rebecka loves to sing and dance. Music is her whole world, and she could not imagine living a life without it. She is a Virgo, who is always reading about astrology. Rebecka also loves to spend her spare time in nature going on hikes and taking photographs while out exploring. Being outside, watching the sunset, and waiting for the sky to turn pitch black so she can watch the stars is her favorite form of self-care. She also spends a lot of extra time taking care of her 25+ plant babies and two cats. Her biggest passion is kindness and nature. She loves people and spreading kindness to others. She strongly believes even a smile to another person can go a long way. Once Rebecka graduates with her Bachelor's degree, She will be a drug, alcohol, and abuse counselor for children and teenagers struggling with their lifestyle or home life.

RAVEN RICH
Raven is a Junior in Western Washington University’s Human Services Program. She is a first-quarter intern for The CHAN Project and focuses on volunteer program management.
In her free time, Raven enjoys spending time with her teen daughters, husband, and their two dogs. They enjoy hiking and traveling. Her goal is to obtain her Masters in Social Work with hopes to help at-risk youth either in the juvenile court system or directly in middle or high schools.

ASHLEE MARTINEZ
Ashlee is a first-quarter intern for the CHAN Project. Her focus is on awareness, particularly NARCAN distribution and training. She is a senior in the Human Services program at Western Washington University. She graduated from Pierce College in June 2021 with her AA in psychology.
In her free time, Ashlee enjoys spending time with her three dogs and her partner. They enjoy hiking and working on renovating their first home, which they recently purchased. Her goal is to obtain her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with hopes of helping those facing a variety of mental health issues.

KATEY SCHORMANN
Katey is a Junior in Western Washington University’s Human Service Program and a first-quarter intern for the CHAN Project. Having had a difficult childhood and the aspiration to provide a better life for her son and daughter, Katey was inspired to return to school to earn a degree in Human Services. In the future, Katey hopes to use her education and personal experiences to support individuals and families facing some of life’s challenges.
In her free time, Katey enjoys spending time hiking, looking for interesting mushrooms and wildflowers, and just appreciating the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. At home, she stays busy with her kids, 2 dogs, a cat, and numerous houseplants.
